Responsible for providing guidance around the clinical aspects of the program and overseeing the success of quality improvement initiatives for nursing homes, hospitals, and outpatient clinical practices. The role involves supporting a team of managers and Quality Improvement Advisors to ensure effective technical assistance and achievement of project goals. Must live in Colorado, Idaho, or Iowa.
The Patient Safety Advisor promotes directs, coordinates, and ensures that occurrence reporting systems and patient safety processes promote a culture of safety, achieve compliance with standards, and reduce patient harm. This position manages the occurrence reporting system across the organization and works closely with departments and physicians to utilize the system fully. This position coordinates data management for reporting out at the unit level, department level and aggregate level for the organization.
This role will be instrumental in leading our organization’s success in delivering high-quality, value-based care by overseeing the development and implementation of strategic initiatives focused on key quality measures. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with a strong clinical background and a deep understanding of quality improvement methodologies, value-based care models, and population health management. This role will be a member of the Quality Leadership team.
