The Patient Safety Advisor promotes directs, coordinates, and ensures that occurrence reporting systems and patient safety processes promote a culture of safety, achieve compliance with standards, and reduce patient harm. This position manages the occurrence reporting system across the organization and works closely with departments and physicians to utilize the system fully. This position coordinates data management for reporting out at the unit level, department level and aggregate level for the organization.
This role will be instrumental in leading our organization’s success in delivering high-quality, value-based care by overseeing the development and implementation of strategic initiatives focused on key quality measures. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with a strong clinical background and a deep understanding of quality improvement methodologies, value-based care models, and population health management.
